House Hunting: What to Hunt For

Looking for a new home can be STRESSFUL. Trying to find one in a location you love, a price range that you can afford, and style that you love can feel nearly impossible. It needs a backyard for the kids, a window above the kitchen sink, and (hopefully) doesn’t need a lot of work.

I presented at our local Chamber of Commerce with a realtor and a mortgage broker on what to look for when buying a house. In our experience with renovating for clients (and ourselves), we’ve learned what to look out for, what things will cost the most money to fix, and what things you should look past because they're super easy and inexpensive upgrades.
